Based in Quebec City and reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Technician supports the business unit in achieving the production objectives by adhering to systems and processes. The business unit produces chemical analyzers that target different markets. Quebec’s ABB Measurement & Analytics plant is a world leader in spectroscopy.

Your responsibilities
Perform optical, mechanical and electronic assembly of our analyzers.
Perform quality control of the same analyzers.
Conduct the final tests ensuring that the quality standard is met.
Comply with the processes in place.
Resolve the problems encountered during assembly and testing activities.
Your background
College diploma in physics, electronics or an appropriate field
High school diploma with relevant experience will also be considered
Strong learning and analytical skills
High level of autonomy, responsibility and versatility
Strong concern for quality and efficiency
