Work Location in Manitoba: 301 – 205 Provencher Boulevard, Winnipeg

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Computer Operations and T24 Technical Support, the Senior T24 Operator’s tasks include supporting and monitoring core banking computer operations infrastructure (Temenos T24, GAMMA, EFS, Insight, etc) as well as supervising the T24 Operations Team, executing scheduled IT tasks and monitoring services that are critical to the day-to-day operation of Caisse Financial Group.

Key responsibilities:

· Task Based execution of T24 and related server operations as required for Caisse Financial Group’s core banking applications (COB running, monitoring, backup, restore, application restart and run book related tasks)

· Provide first point of contact for Level 1 support requests from the computer operators

· Provide support on actions and tasks that can be resolved within expected time frame. Events that are more complex and take longer will be escalated to Incident Management and Support team

· Monitor systems and services for potential problems and respond accordingly

· Support 24/7 production and non-production systems; work off standard hours as part of team to provide daily weekday
coverage and 24 hours on call availability

· Create and manage the computer operators’ shift schedule and ensure for a smooth shift change by adequately transitioning
all activities to the next shift

Skills & Qualifications

· Knowledge and experience in a computer operations environment

· Experience working in an IT operations role and with T24 applications

· College diploma or equivalent technical education or 4 – 6 years of work experience, preferably with the Temenos T24 banking system

· Ability to exercise sound judgment, organize and prioritize jobs to be processed

· Demonstrate a customer centric focus and be a proactive team player who is motivated by achieving targets

· Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail are required

· PC skills are essential including experience in Microsoft Office

· Must have a very flexible approach to work: ability to work outside of normal workdays and office hours, be receptive to change and be confident working in a fast moving and exciting environment

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to deal with all levels in a confident and professional manner

· Ability to communicate in French, written and verbal, is an asset
