Reporting to the Assistant Registrar, Registration, the Program Manager, Hearings Director Office (HDO) is responsible for the administration of appeals, hearing tribunals, and Complaint Review Committee (CRC) processes. The Program Manager is responsible for the decision making, interpretation and application of policies and procedures to ensure processes are compliant with applicable legislation.
Interpret legislation, regulations, and bylaws to create policies and procedures relevant to the HDO.
Ensure that all legislative and regulatory requirements are being met including publication of hearing tribunal and appeal decisions.
Function as a member of the HDO and support senior management in the administration and operation of the HDO.
Human resource planning and management.
Identify, provide input and adopt quality improvement initiatives to enhance general operating procedures and to maximize the IT infrastructure.

General analytical, planning and professional skills typically obtained through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Requirement for 8 to 12 years of related experience.
Strong management skills and/or project management experience.
Advanced interpersonal, communication, and legal writing skills.
Proficient in MS Office and other relevant IT applications such as SharePoint.
Legal or paralegal training and tribunal administration experience is preferred.
