What is the Opportunity?
The Senior Manager, Initiatives – Data Enablement will play a vital role as a business lead in 2 functions:
Advanced analytics, implementation support and guidance through the introduction and maintenance of workforce management (WFM) practices into “Back Office” operations and solid understanding of data from various existing systems to build capacity and performance measurement reporting/modelling.
Design, development, implementation and maintenance of the capacity and performance management across multiple roles and groups within Wealth Management Canada Operations
What will you do?
Develop, design and implement capacity and performance measurement reporting/modelling across multiple roles and groups within Wealth Management Canada operations.
Work collaboratively with the direct team members, centers and key business partners (HR, Compensation, Communication, etc.) to design and develop strategies and frameworks that support WMC Operations’ goals and objectives, ensuring capacity and performance management recommendations align to continuous improvement, customer service and accountability.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and lead presentations to senior management to ensure final designs are supportive of the broader Wealth Management Canada Operations strategy.
Lead projects, design working sessions with senior stakeholders and collaboratively work with multiple teams to design and build the capacity and workforce management tools and capabilities to areas within WMC Operations
Consult, coach, advice and counsel business stakeholders balancing business need/solutions with influencing an integrated approach to program implementation
Develop reports and dashboards using WFM tools or other Reporting applications
Liaise with operations and technology partners to promote the development and implementation of WFM tools and reports.
Develop and execute routines to measure and monitor effectiveness of the reporting/modelling functionality/changes to determine success
Maintain balanced view: reduce cost, increase efficiency, enhance client and employee experience while keeping within RBC risk appetite
What do you need to succeed?
Preferably MBA, or MA in Math, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research
5+ years related experience in capacity and performance management
Business acumen and strategic thinking/mindset
Extremely proficient with MS Office programs (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Analytical and results oriented with ability to work with large scale organizational change
Attention to detail and strong time management and project planning skills
Strong listening and negotiating skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer interaction skills to include communications, presentation and conflict resolution skills
Identifies and respects diverse frames of reference
