Administratively support HR Business Partners located at various terminals
Provide excellent internal customer service at all times to all departments
Assist in the creation and maintenance of administrative systems to support HR function (i.e. monthly reports, employee files) and to provide SAP support
Assist with Benefits administration and communication
Coordination of communication initiatives and special projects at the local terminals
Timely recruitment and selection of hourly employees which includes posting positions, screening of candidates (prescreening interviews, testing, reference checks, ect) and coordination of interviews and testing
Hiring and onboarding administrative duties
Liaise with internal partners (Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Pensions)
Coordination and maintenance of internal programs
Frequent travel to Vaughan and other terminals as required
Other adminstrative duties as assigned
Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership
Post-secondary HR related Degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent HR related experience
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation - ability to effectively communicate HR initiatives, functions, policies and procedures
Strong Computer skills - MS Office, Google docs, SAP, etc.
Previous experience working in a unionized environment is beneficial
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
Location: 558 - Barrie
Working Conditions: Office Environment; Retail Center Environment; Warehouse Environment
