This position focuses on Accounts Payable and transactional activities including, but not limited to invoice entry, exception processing, scanning, payment, reporting and providing customer service.
Ensure invoices are accurately verified, coded, and processed
Work with suppliers and employees to troubleshoot and resolve invoice exceptions within defined service level agreements
Resolve invoice exceptions related to PO and non-PO
Utilize Oracle to process payments on an appropriate schedule by system, pay type, and pay group
Assist the rest of the Accounts Payable Shared Service Centre team with other duties as assigned
Coordinate with our US based Shared Service Disbursement processing team as necessary
Post-Secondary education in Accounting required.
Minimum of 1 year of Accounting/Finance experience preferred
Experience in the automobile or Auction industry desirable.
Strong communication and interaction skills required.
Effective accounting and organizational skills required.
Excellent computer and software knowledge essential, including Excel, Word, Outlook, with Oracle and AS400 preferred.
Strong time management skills
Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule if necessary
