Venture Pacific Construction Management is a Project / Construction Management firm working in the Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Residential markets. We are seeking to fill the position of Project Coordinator / Estimator for a diverse set of tasks throughout our project lifecycles. This individual will report directly to the Director of Operations, and the CEO, and will have significant opportunities to grow and develop their career in Project and Construction Management.

Position Description

Responsibilities:

  • The primary function is to assist and coordinate the details associated with all functions of the Director of Operations (DoC) and Project Manager (PM).
  • Work in a team-oriented environment as a team-player, with strong organizational skills, and be capable of working in a fast-paced, high demand project environment.
  • Understand the Projects and their requirements.
  • Assist the DoC and PM in all aspects of Schedule, Budget, Cost Control, Estimating, Tendering and Procurement.
  • Basic knowledge of quantity take-off and estimating. Understand the factors that will influence cost and schedule.
  • Assist in assembling an estimate plan, perform quantity take-off, estimate costs and perform bid analysis.
  • Assist in, with the aid of software, data analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator / Estimator or similar position
  • Familiarity with project management principles
  • Experience with PlanSwift would be a significant asset
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Thoroughness, and excellent organizational skills
  • Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
