Responsible to the Dean, for the administrative management of the Faculty of Applied Science as it pertains to enrolment planning, human resource planning and control, facilities planning and management, budget planning and control and project management. Responsible for the operation of the school offices of the School of Applied Science and Computing, School of Skilled Trades and Tourism, School of Health Sciences and the School of Baccalaureate Nursing.
We are seeking a self-starting leader with a 3-year Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or another relevant field of studies along with 7 years of relevant and progressively responsible administration experience which will include experience in the following areas:
Supervisory experience Administrative leadership and operational guidance Financial and statistical analysis Project management Conflict Management Advanced time management, organization, prioritization and task consolidation skills, excellent client service skills, strong ability to manage a budget from forecasting to monitoring and reconciliation. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software (MS Office Suite); email communications (MSOutlook). Experience or knowledge of with Student Information Systems, Financial Management Systems, Human Resources Management Systems, and Budget Maestro will be considered an asset. The position also requires demonstrated analytical, statistical analysis, problem-solving skills, project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to engage and motivate a team to meet organizational objectives and conduct performance planning and give feedback, effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and participate in decision-making. Salary and Terms
In addition to the annual salary range of $74,503. - $93,128., the compensation package includes a performance-based salary program and a comprehensive benefit package. Starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
