Our company, a logistic management, distribution and warehousing enterprise is expanding and requires the right person to join their team and contribute to the on-going success of their operation. We are looking for a full-time Payroll Clerk.

Under the direction of the HR Manager, the Payroll Clerk will play an important role in everyday payroll administration. He or she will provide internal customer support and will be an important part of this department’s excellence. The person who occupies this position will mainly be responsible for providing high-quality, efficient payroll administration.

The designated employee, among other assigned responsibilities, will perform the following principal tasks:

  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll for our Québec, Ontario & Maritimes facilities;
  • Check the compliance between payroll and internal policies;
  • Benefits program management and vacation adjustments;
  • Send payroll time sheets to agencies;
  • Reconcile and approve agency invoices;
  • Preparation of WSIB payments;
  • T4/RL1 check at the end of the year and track taxable benefits;
  • Respond to inquiries (records of employment, employee records, etc.);
  • Assist with the recruitment and interview process;
  • Assist with employee CNESST issues;
  • Draft various types of letters (employment offers, schedule changes, salary changes, employment confirmations, etc.)
  • Generate reports for analysis purposes;
  • Works with extremely confidential and sensitive information;
  • Providing superior quality customer service to internal and external clients;
  • Execute any other department office administration related tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll administration;
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now payroll system;
  • Canadian Payroll Association certification (a plus).
  • Bilingual: English and French (spoken & written);
  • Good knowledge of labour laws in Canada;
  • Energetic and good team spirit;
  • Strong analytical, priority management and multitasking skills;
  • Must be well-organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and a "can-do" attitude
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  • Canadian Payroll Association certification (a plus).
