The opportunity

Reporting to and working in tandem with the CEO, we are adding the first Implementation Specialist to our newly formed Canadian team. This is an unbelievable growth opportunity for someone eager to learn and ready to take on multiple deliverables. You will generate creative ways to accomplish client goals through the deployment of TechRyde software and configuration of their POS. You will work on new initiatives and ongoing projects, building out your role, collaborating with the global team, and defining the standards for future Specialists.

Who you are

You are currently providing implementation or tech support at a bigger company and you want to jump into the startup world. Ideally, you are familiar with the hospitality industry and you have hands-on knowledge of POS systems. You are looking for an opportunity to boost your client exposure, expand your hands-on technical skills and accelerate your career.

As an Implementation Specialist, you will:
Implement, test and deploy the TechRyde POS solutions, integrating the tools with the client’s technology.
Create supporting documentation for distribution to the client.
Provide onboarding and go-live support, answering any queries and escalating issues as necessary.
Manage client expectations and concern, in collaboration with the global team and the CEO.
Help ensure the project is delivered within scope and client expectations are exceeded.
Deliver multiple projects concurrently.

What you bring:
A combination of education and experience. You have a diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. You have 1+ years of implementation or IT support experience.

A technical toolkit. You have familiarity with:
POS Legacy or Cloud POS Systems, ideally exposure to configuration, installation, troubleshooting.
Solid API knowledge and experience; Postman is an added bonus.
A customer service focus. You have clear verbal and written skills. You are comfortable:
Picking up the phone to ask a question or obtain information.
Working in a consultative manner with clients to solve their technical issues and facilitate their engagement with the product.
A flexible, self-motivated approach. You are open to working outside of regular business hours, including collaborating with teams in different time zones. You are deadline driven, with outstanding analytical skills enabling you to rapidly solve complex problems.
