Now, we’re looking for a new Clinic Operations Manager who will be critical to the success of our daily work and execution of our projects.

The Opportunity:
Permanent full-time
$80,000 - $90,000 (inclusive of 10% bonus)

As the Clinic Operations Manager, your main responsibility is to ensure the smooth operations of our clinic and oversee daily functions: everything from schedules to reception. As a leader, you won’t be the centre of attention; you’ll be the centre of activity around which others succeed.

This will be a diverse and challenging role. Leveraging a deep understanding of operations, you’ll be a resource for all our staff: answering questions, providing coaching and providing solutions to escalated issues. You’re not afraid to chip in when things get hectic and have practical strategies for dealing with pressure and deadlines.

You have a track record of success in leading effective teams, meeting deadlines and motivating/recognizing outstanding staff contributions.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:
Ensure optimal physician schedules and staffing
Address escalated patient concerns
Serve as point of contact for department heads and satellite clinics
Mentor direct reports and monitor their performance
Administer online training portal and update modules as required
Assist in hiring, onboarding, performance management and corrective actions
Arrange ‘Lunch & Learns’ for staff to promote continuing education
Find ways to improve workflow and positively impact customer experience
Prepare contracts with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
Identify and assess service issues and present recommendations
Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards (BORN, OHPIP, MOH, OHPIP, IHF), policies and procedures and facilitate audits and inspections
Monitor facility maintenance

Working @ Anova Fertility:
This is a full-time position and the range we have in mind for this position is $80,000-90,000 per year, inclusive of a 10% performance incentive. You’ll spend most of your time at our North York location but may be required to travel within Ontario.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, ideally in medical services administration or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 3 years of success in health care operation, including compliance with fiscal, procedural and regulatory requirements
At least 3 years of success in a management/supervisory role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Strong English language skills required; multilingualism (ideally French) an asset
Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Ability to switch tasks, respond to shifting priorities and refocus after interruptions
Proficiency with EMR software or similar platform
Solid business case-building/analysis capacity to ensure proper decision-making

Experience in business use of social media would be an asset
