We are looking for a skilled Journeyman Automotive Service Technician. The qualified individual is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. S/he also will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to him/her.

*Must have minimum 3 years experience*

Duties include:

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Understand and follow federal, provincial and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
  • Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed.
  • Such other duties as may be assigned

The successful applicant must be:

  • Must have minimum 3 years experience as Automotive Technician
  • Journeyman Technician with high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions with information
  • Provincial certification preferred
  • General mechanical skills
  • Able to operate both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • A valid BC Driver's Licence with clean driving record
  • Extremely organized
