Department Summary:
GBSU/EQD has worldwide responsibility for supplying GBSU various divisions with all the IT and operations resources necessary for them to function under competitive conditions in terms of technological standards, service quality and cost. GBSU/EQD/SEP is composed of talented professionals who every day translates ideas into action by combining the strength of our expertise in IT with a deep understanding of investment banking. Day to day, your role will include the following:

Day to day, your role will include the following:
  • Contributing as a Quality Assurance QA Engineer focusing on quality of releases and helping the automation of release management process through CI/CD
  • Functional Testing of applications including the validation of end to end workflow.
  • Documentation and execution of test approach and test cases for the verification and validation of software requirements.
  • Analytical evaluation of requirements and documentation of test strategy, test plan and test cases.
  • Clear documentation of reported bugs. Follow-up with development team on reported bugs and incorporation in regression testing.
  • Maintenance of regression testing and automation using in-house tools.
  • Efficient status reporting to Management on a regular basis.
  • Meeting deadlines and finding solutions to meet appropriate test needs.
  • Strong hands on experience in use of SQL scripts
  • Creation & writing of test strategies, automate tests
  • Effectively manage the Client Relationship with the end user community
Profile Required

Developed automated BDD test frameworks using UFT.
Experience in Automation Tools: UFT, Loadrunner or JMeter
Languages/Frameworks: VB script, Python
Database knowledge and hands on experience using SQL in heavy data validation
Experience of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GITHub
Experience of Defect management tools Jira and ALM

Desired / Plus:
Languages/Frameworks: C#, Python, Shell script, Loadrunner, Pytest
Source control tools
Knowledge with trading business processes (both Equities and Fixed income)
Agile development practices

Experience Needed:
  • 3-5 years Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering background
Educational Requirements:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Languages: (Other than English)

  • French helpful, but not mandatory
