Bugs Heat Terminator is looking for Pest Control Technicians to service route in the greater Toronto and surrounding areas. What is this role about?

Our Pest control technicians serve in a key role in identifying potential and actual pest problems, conduct inspections, design control strategies, work directly with customers, and provide outstanding service.

What You Will Do:
Applying pesticides to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions
Spray chemical solutions, powders, and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests
Identify invading pests, including cockroaches, carpet beetles, ants, spiders, mosquitos, or bed bugs.
Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural, sanitation and pest issues.
Utilize appropriate protective gear and equipment during application.
This position is classified as heavy work

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Provincial pesticide applicator license
Valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record, and drive and maintain a company vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition.
Must be able to pass a background check

Experience preferred

Physical Demands:
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, standing and climbing for long periods of time
Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions
Must be capable of wearing a respirator
