After receiving training and coaching, a successful candidate in this role will play a key role in executing:

  • Leading targeted outbound marketing activities
  • Engaging directly with hundreds of prospective clients
  • Completing discovery qualifying meetings to identify optimal sales opportunities
  • Working closely with Account Executives to

Responsibilities: KnowHow is looking for our first Sales Development Representative to take our customer acquisition team to the next level. You will research and identify high-potential sales leads, convert leads into sales opportunities, and connect with customers large and small over the phone and via email. In addition, you will own and build a sales pipeline by working collaboratively with the Sales Team, the Customer Success team and the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach decision makers at target companies
  • Qualify and convert new leads into opportunity through well planned and executed efforts
  • Prioritize and organize day-to-day activities to ensure all sales quota and management objectives are met
  • Manage and track leads via CRM while maintaining accurate and up to date records
  • Become an expert in product usage, knowing the KnowHow product from top to bottom
  • Meet opportunity targets
  • Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists and contacts within a defined territory
  • Research accounts and identify key players
  • Generate interest through discovery calls and email campaigns
  • Provide software product demonstrations

Requirements

  • Experience with a modern sales technology stack (Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, Salesloft, Google Slack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
  • Tenacious and relentless effort in pursuit of meeting or exceeding a sales plan
  • Superb communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent online research skills
  • Outgoing, extraverted personality (the idea of talking with people all day is energizing)
  • Exceptional sourcing skills to uncover potential customers and decision makers
  • Humble personality, no job is too small and being a team player willing to help out wherever possible
  • Positive thinking and open to working through challenges
  • Strong desire to never stop learning or growing professionally
  • Coachable individual who seeks out feedback in order to learn and achieve peak performance
  • Strong ‘team orientation’, experience as a positive team player (supported by references)

An optimal candidate will have:

  • Experience as an SDR
  • Sales experience in Saas/Technology
  • Strong familiarity with using CRM software (Hubspot, etc)
  • Tech savvy and willing to learn new tools
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Blue Collar service industry experience (trades, construction, hospitality)

Applicant requirements:

  • Have a dedicated ‘work from home’ office space to ensure a quite location to make calls
  • Must be either a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (legally work in Canada).
  • Must have a native fluency in English (written and spoken) as target market is English-speaking.
  • The company can provide required computer equipment if necessary
