ATCO Frontec is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our NFTC project in Moose Jaw, SK. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of evaluating, estimating, and implementing all Project Work Requirements and Capital Projects

Where We Work and Live:
This position is located at the 15 Wing base in Moose Jaw, SK. Housing is not provided at this location so the successful candidate must be located in or near Moose Jaw, SK.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate the internal reviews and meet with the client/internal resources to clarify requirements, confirm scope of work, schedules, HSE requirements and any other special considerations. Monitor Project safety and quality.
Prepare and execute solicitations Request for Quote or Request for Proposal ("RFP')/("RFQ's") for maintenance services and supplies of materials, additional work requests and Capital Project including pre-qualification, subcontract amendments, pricing schedules.
Manage projects ranging from construction to site infrastructure systems replacement from initiation to completion.
Prepare project implementation packages for ATCO Frontec ("ATCO") staff to assist them in completing AWR or Capital projects. Prepare turnover/closeout package to operations to take over maintenance.
Prepare and maintain a current database of pre-qualified and security cleared subcontractors.
Receives and ensures analysis of bidder's proposals/quotations are based on evaluation criteria and prepares bid evaluation documents. Solicit and review estimates for presentation to the client either through the RFQ or RFP process.
Receive and log into the work management system all Project work orders.

Qualifications:
5 or more years of experience in a similar industry, ie Properties and building construction, renovations, modifications covering structural, electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience in contract/subcontract coordination, administration and oversight including assembling and issuing RFQ/RFPs
Having a PMP certification, or being in the process of obtaining this certification, would be an asset
Must have a valid driver's license and pass an enhanced reliability government of Canada security clearance
Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act
Strong knowledge of building codes
Ability to read and understand drawings
Experience with solicit estimates, review estimates for completeness and prepare estimates for presentation to the client
Self-starter with excellent work ethic who can deliver superior customer service
Excellent communication skills with first class interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to encourage collaboration among clients and team members, vendors and suppliers
Strong MS Office skills are required.
