The Quality Assurance Coordinator, External is responsible for comprehensive inspections of both in-line production and finished goods, collecting data, creating reports and sharing reports with different stake holders. The QA Coordinator follows performance standards, procedures, and audit controls in order to meet QA department and CG business requirements and must be capable of multi-tasking while working in a team environment to perform tasks cross functionally.
Perform inspection at local contractors through all stages of the production to insure that garment meets CG standards. Inspect finished goods and release shipments
Occasionally visit and inspect in-line activities and finished goods at out of province contractors
Inspect finished goods at Distribution center, release or reject shipments. Collect and analyze inspection information, prepare reports
Communicate with out of province contractors on shipment issues and corrective actions
Collect data during contractors/ distribution center visits, create comprehensive reports, and communicate to all stakeholders in timely manners
Inspect Prototypes, Sale Samples, Size-set, Pre-Production, TOP and Pre-Shipment Samples, produce reports with comments
Participate at Product Engineering reviews of new season reference samples. Create report of suggestion and improvements
Inspect back to stock shipment, make reports, and share with stakeholders
Support development and implementation of processes and procedures using an advanced knowledge of industry standards
Identify and investigate incidents from a quality perspective, come up with corrective actions and follow up with their implementations
Experience, Education and Designations:
2 years of experience in Garment Industries.
Degree in Fashion/Textiles Manufacturing preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Strong MS Office skills.
Excellent written and verbal English skills.
Strong knowledge of garment construction and patternmaking.
Understanding manufacturing process with the garment industry.
Ability to prioritize, operate proactively, work as a team and handle challenges.
Excellent common sense, decision-making abilities, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to evaluate options and generate solutions.
Confident, articulate, organized, detail oriented, goal oriented, self-motivated and hard working.
Must be flexible due to scheduling challenges and multi-tasking.
Manufacturing, Warehouse and Office Environment.
Must have valid driving licence and own vehicle for travel to contractors
