GardaWorld is currently hiring a full-time Recruitment Specialist on a fourteen month contract basis. Based out of Winnipeg Airport the successful recruiter will support a wide range of recruitment activities for airports across the Prairies region.
Reporting to the General Manager - Logistics, the Recruitment Specialist will work with the recruitment team in supporting recruitment activities including full-cycle recruitment, coordination and facilitation of job fairs, administration and collaboration across other departments to ensure recruiting activities fulfill current and future operational requirements.
The successful candidate will be fulfilling requirements for airports across the Prairies Region so frequent travel will be required.
Major Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Full cycle, high volume recruitment including job posting, candidate attraction, screening, interviewing, referencing and administration of the applicant tracking system
Facilitating multi-level job fairs to test, screen and interview a high volume of candidates
Working in collaboration with the recruitment team to monitor all recruiting activities and progress
Working with Regional Management and Operations to determine ongoing recruiting requirements
Managing and maintaining an accurate pipeline of applicants using an applicant tracking system, (SuccessFactors), to support staffing requirements and ensure quality and compliance
Frequent travel required including overnight travel

Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a recruiter role
Attention to detail combined with the creativity and adaptability to work in a heavily regulated industry
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be highly organized in a fast paced and deadline oriented work environment
Experience with an applicant tracking system(s)
Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and oral English
Adaptable to changing objectives and methods with the ability to handle stress
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Management, or equivalent combination of related experience
Experience in a high volume recruiter environment
Experience with large scale recruiting events and multi-level testing events
Experience in Aviation, Resources or Security Operations
Experience in a unionized environment
Experience with SuccessFactors
Experience in and the confidence to perform presentations to large groups
Fluency in French
Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident as defined in the Immigration Act with an employment authorization document
Able to obtain Transport Security Clearance
No previous criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
18 years or older
