Churchill Park Family Care Society is a large multi-program not-for-profit child care organization and registered charity. We have a proud history of providing high quality early learning and child care experiences for children and families in the Calgary area. We are a dynamic organization that makes a positive difference in the lives of families every day.

Profile of Child Care Centre:

  • 75 children enrolled ages birth to 6 years – 7 classrooms
  • Total of 19 staff
  • Program runs 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Location: 2770 32 Ave NE #28, Calgary, AB

Position Overview:

This position is for an experienced, high quality primary educator role with preschool children (3-6 years)

The classroom has a total of 16 preschoolers and 2 educators.

Qualifications/ Skills and Professional Attributes:

  • Child development worker or supervisor
  • Knowledgeable about licensing regulations and best practices for children
  • Knowledge of Alberta Curriculum Framework-Play, Participation, and Possibilities considered an asset
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision making skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with families, co-workers and management
  • Demonstrated team work abilities and flexibility
  • Excellent organization skills and time management
  • Willing to learn, open to feedback and shared leadership
  • Positive performance review with current program
  • Valid First Aid Certificate and Police Security Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search
