Our Rockland office is looking for an Accounting Technician to join the Assurance & Accounting team, starting January 2020, and own the following responsibilities:
Preparation and completion of working papers, financial statements and tax returns for compilation for clients in a variety of businesses
Accurate and efficient preparation of corporate and personal taxes
Preparation of regular external filings such as HST and T4's
Performing reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist clients with accounting software, bookkeeping, and data entry as required

Your experience and education
College diploma in accounting completed or in progress
You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
You have proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
