CMO Procurement Manager
Locations: US-Warren, NJ or CAN Mississauga, Ontario
Location is US and Canada
Direct and manage the CMO Procurement Supply strategy across the assigned CMOs.
Develop the cost management strategy and be accountable into the Region Head of Procurement for the delivery of the agreed cost reduction programs and associated targets
Own the strategic commercial relationship with the assigned CMOs
Be accountable for assigned CMO Synergies delivery targets for the new JV. Ensuring clear plans are in place with a robust governance and tracking system developed to support the same.
Liaise with Production Procurement relating to the raw materials and packaging spend within the assigned CMO. Ensuring clear plans and measures are in place to drive value across all key areas of expenditure whilst ensuring that PP strategies support the delivery of cost management targets.
Implement standard work processes across the Procurement responsibilities in line with Global direction, aligned with the Integrated Sourcing Program and Contract Life Cycle Management processes.
Ensure robust contract compliance processes are in place and in use across assigned CMOs
Be a strong advocate of the CMO model across the organisation, ensuring flawless communication processes with the CMO team.

Deliver the cost reduction targets across the assigned CMOs, inclusive of the agreed JV synergies targets.
Deploy Negotiation strategy standards across the assigned CMOs, building a strong ‘’should cost’’ foundation
Drive standard work processes across the CMO Procurement responsibilities, fully embedding the Integrated Sourcing Program and Contract Lifecycle Management programs across the function.
Develop the need within CMO to deliver best in class cost management performance across assigned CMOs.
Own key strategic contracts and commercial relationship for the assigned CMOs
Own RFX process for the assigned CMOs/categories
Negotiate and conclude robust supply agreements in close coordination with the CMO senior management & legal.
Collaborate with other Functions and contract manufacturers in order to create innovative partnerships and solutions that deliver maximum value to GSK CH business
Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements and continuous improvements of quality relevant processes
Build strong relationship with Direct Procurement to ensure DP drive value for the CMO Supply Chain. Agreed clear cost reduction deliverables with DP and provide current and future state volume projections to them to support their strategy going forward.
Ensure overall CMO Procurement Internal controls compliance for the assigned CMOs.
Ensure robust contract compliance systems and measures are in place.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Technical, Business, Procurement/Cost Management Degree or acceptable equivalent
A minimum of 5-10 years experience
Demonstrated Procurement experience operating in a cGMP OTC and FMCG environment.
Sourcing strategy and Procurement skills including supplier relationship management, supplier development, continuous improvement, negotiation and the ability to understand and implement complex contractual arrangements preferred.
Proven track record of strong cost reduction programs across a diverse range of technologies and dose forms.
Direct Procurement across a portfolio of materials and packaging is a plus
Experience of supplier performance and relationship management across complex supply chains
The ability to work effectively in a cross functional teams for sourcing projects
The ability to influence peers and stakeholders from all parts of the business to drive towards common goals
Supply chain strategy skills including supplier relationship management, supplier development, continuous improvement, negotiation and ability to understand and implement complex contractual arrangements.
Strong knowledge of Supply chain Operations (Supply Chain Planning, Plant Operations)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence a complex and diverse matrix of stakeholders and peers across regional and category teams.
The ability to influence senior leaders across the supply chain and commercial organisations. The gravitas to operate at a senior management level within a multi-national blue chip organization.
