The Design Team is looking for a local experienced Senior User Experience Designer to define user-centric, engaging digital experiences. If you believe that a good digital experience comes from understanding the problem you're solving, we want to talk to you. If you instinctively ground your designs in user needs, enthusiastically iterate based on user testing, and love to learn about your clients' business, we definitely want to talk to you. We believe that the best candidate will feel at home here; feel supported, challenged and excited by our wide variety of projects and our many happy clients.
You enjoy being in a consultative, client-facing role and are exceptional at managing your work. You relish defining the 'fuzzy front end' of design including facilitating design discovery sessions to understand the big picture and translating these discussions into design requirements, workflows, and actionable deliverables such as a robust information architecture and wireframes.
About the Role:
As a Sr. UX Designer, you will work closely with our internal teams to support both projects and sales. You are comfortable acting as a conversation kickstarter, trusted advisor, and chaos wrangler. You have experience collaboratively scoping projects and providing design estimates as well as evidence-based design recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
Exceptional ability to guide and advise clients to elicit business, technical and design needs to strengthen their business.
Strong, effective verbal and visual communication skills-and you know when to go broad, and when to go deep
Comfortable interfacing with stakeholders to pitch services and facilitate collaborative meetings.
Ability to travel 5-6 times a year (usually for a few days to the US)
Ability to articulate your design rationale with the internal team and clients
Knowledgeable about a variety of user research methods
Someone who thrives in diversity in projects and industries
Nice to Have:
Prior agency experience
Active contributor in your areas of expertise (i.e., writing blog posts, attending conferences)
What we offer:
Every great relationship is reciprocal. The best companies are about more than employment contracts. They are a home; they have a purpose beyond just making a profit. We want you to feel like a valued part of our team. To that end, we offer:
Flexibility to work in the way that works for you, including work-from-home days
An education fund and the opportunity to devote time to work on your professional goals
Support and mentorship from a leadership team that truly values designers and the design process
A wide variety of projects that allows you to gain exposure to the full spectrum of an end-to-end project
Have something in mind? Just ask. We're open to your thoughts, your ideas, and your questions!
How to Apply:
Please apply through our online application form with your cover letter, a link to your portfolio and resume. If you have any links to key design sites such as Behance, Dribbble, etc. please include those as well.
