CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Full-time Production Technician

As a production technician you will be primarily responsible and accountable for running the production line and maintaining, validating and ensuring production equipment is in compliance with GMP/HACCP/ISO. You will also analyze samples with titration and HPLC and ensure all SOPs are adhered to and documentation kept; and also engage in problem solving as warranted.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Degree in either Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Technology or equivalent

* Minimum 2 years experience in this field

* Problem solving skills

* Self-motivated and able to work independently

* Good written and verbal communication skills in English

* Proficient in MS Word and Excel

* Ability to work on rotating shifts

* Able to lift weight of 25kg

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Operate processing and and packaging equipment

* Report directly to the Production Supervisor

* Calibrate, maintain and validate production equipment to ensure it is in state of GMP/HACCP/ISO compliance at all times of production

* Ensure SOPs and production safety protocols are strictly followed

* Keep complete and accurate documentation
* Recognize equipment/process malfunctions or hazardous conditions and initiate appropriate
corrective action

* Write and review daily production records, weekly and monthly reports and regulatory docu
ments

* Report in writing any production issues to the Production Supervisor

* Follow housekeeping requirements

* Perform other duties as required by management
