What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the SVP, Marketing, the Director, Segment Marketing, Mid-Market works at the intersection between Zafin’s Product Development and Management teams, and our customer-facing teams, including Business Development, Sales, Partner Enablement, Customer Success and Bid Management. In particular, the role will focus on global Enterprise financial institutions, building awareness of our solutions. Your mandate is to equip our customer- and partner-facing teams with the strategies, insights and artifacts to ensure their success in pursuing and winning deals. Your work creates the foundation for confident, accurate and compelling interactions with clients and other stakeholders at the appropriate level of specificity and depth to maximize impact for Zafin, win business, create value for customers and define Zafin’s position in the product and pricing space.

What will you do?
Develop and maintain compelling, relevant and persuasive marketing materials that tell the Zafin story and represent Zafin’s platform and products in ways that generate interest, inspire enthusiasm and motivate purchase. Materials include but are not limited to: buyer personas, competitive intelligence, value propositions/value stories (by persona, by product, by problem, etc.), sales-oriented use cases, product marketing (at varying levels of technical detail), client case studies/success stories or sales playbooks and other sales enablement materials.
Define segment specific go-to-market strategies with a strong knowledge of client objectives, competitive challenges and opportunities for partners to add value, including actionable segmentation schemes, clearly articulated differentiators and concise, compelling messaging.
Support sales leadership with strategies, tactics and fully executed materials designed to advance pursuits and win deals.
Ensure product updates are accurately reflected across the full suite of sales and marketing materials.
Help drive product launches, providing strategic and tactical sales and marketing support.
Develop content for a variety of audiences in a variety of formats, as needed.
Support other marketing programs (market research, event marketing, lead generation, partner marketing, content marketing, account-based marketing, etc.) as needed.
Support a feedback loop with our existing customers, deriving information and insights that will be used to direct and inform product development, marketing and sales strategies and tactics.
What do I need to succeed?
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
10+ years professional experience in segment acquisition marketing or product marketing in a B2B SaaS technology environment, preferably with a focus on the banking industry.
5+ years of experience working in a fast paced and multiple stakeholder environment, preferably in Management Consulting, Financial Services or Banking.
Excellent strategic and conceptual thinking skills coupled with high attention to detail.
Natural ability to think through ways to make processes increasingly efficient.
Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders (executives, managers, subject matter experts).
Hands-on expertise with creating and delivering high quality customer-facing materials/deliverables.
Excellent articulation, communication (written/verbal) and collaboration skills.
Advanced skills in all current desktop technologies.
