The Position

As a Librarian 3, you will oversee the organization and delivery of exceptional customer services. You are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the library, including overseeing library programming and events that meet the community needs. This position is also responsible for financial reporting and coordinating building and equipment maintenance. Leads and supervises staff. Performs administrative duties. You are responsible for engaging with organizations, agencies and community associations.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited library school or equivalent library degree.
  • Management certificate from a recognized institution or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years experience working as a Librarian, including 2 years experience in a supervisory role and 2 years experience in library operations.

Wage Rate: $37.94 to $44.43 per hour, Pay Grade 15
