JOB FUNCTION

Responsible for the day to day activities of the Canadian based Global Distribution Centre (DC). Operations to be planned to provide cost effective service to both internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support day to day fast paced DC operational activities and deliver DC KPIs.
Lead by example by conducting business in a professional manner and embodying the High Touch Leadership Competencies.
Lead process improvement and loss elimination projects to deliver cost savings, process efficiencies and asset utilization.
Work with operations supervisors to streamline and standardize the work process.
Analyze data related to DC operations and provide improvement recommendation for DC management.
Develop and maintain operational SOP's.
Work with the management team that fosters a culture of Safety, Inclusion and Diversity and employee engagement.
Provide other Ad hoc support as requested by the management team.
Qualifications

Additional Job Specifications:
3 rd or 4 th year engineering/business/science student.
Self-starter with positive go-getter attitude.
Ability to lead by example.
Superior problem-solving mindset.
Previous Continuous Improvement (CI) experience is a plus.
Previous experience in a plant or DC or supply chain is a plus.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skill.
Strong sense of urgency is required.
Ability to learn new systems and train others.
