Under the direction of the Children’s Centre Coordinator, the Early Childhood Educator attends to the care and learning of the children at the Children’s Centre. The ECE must encourage and role-model their skills to all CCA’s on the childcare team.
Previous experience in a child care setting an asset
Successful completion of a recognized Early Childhood Educator II program and completed or willing to complete the 40 hour course requirements for working in a Children Centre
Must have First Aid and CPR

Demonstrates a calm and confident manner during difficult situations
Demonstrates ability in planning activities for children
Maintains confidentiality with all information entrusted to the position
Represents the Churchill RHA in a professional and positive manner

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
