We are looking for a Digital Content Specialist to join our Calgary branch team. The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled story teller who has a passion for developing and publishing engaging content and managing inbound marketing campaigns that drive sales and help position the organization as an industry innovator and thought leader.
Collaborate with the marketing, sales and operations teams to develop, package and distribute audience relevant content across all digital and traditional channels including print, websites, social media postings, landing pages, webinars, emails, etc.
Develop, implement and evaluate opportunities for SEO, SEM and Paid Search, and other campaigns
Create integrated and automated email campaigns that support the organization’s Nurture and Member engagement strategies
Provide analysis and reports to track inbound sales and demonstrate effectiveness of campaigns and return on investment and make recommendations for improvement.
Ensure content reflects the brand in voice, design, messaging and quality
Manages daily operations and monthly calendar for all digital assets (e.g., Website, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn) and play an active part in plans to expand into other digital venues
Research new media opportunities that benefit the business such as new mobile technologies and social media enhancements
Ecampaign creation and optimization – work with various partners to create effective assets and campaigns that increase sales and create a positive brand impression
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, PR or Journalism
5 years of experience developing, writing, packaging and distributing content across multiple platforms
Advanced knowledge of Google AdWords/PPC advertising, YouTube and social media
Experience with Google Analytics and other tools for campaign measurement
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proven success with executating effeective marketing campaigns
Exceptional writing and story-telling skills
Professional presentation and on-camera presence
Experience with video editing and graphic design
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrate creative flair
A strong understanding of paid search, paid social, SEO, email marketing, and display advertising, both in use and in theory
Proven track record for building and managing the inbound sales funnel
Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation software
Experience creating graphics and landing pages for gated content would be considered an asset
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
