We are currently seeking a ****EXPERIENCED EXPEDITE DISPATCHER***for a large Transportation/Logistics Company located in the Hamilton area.

  • Coordinate, schedule and dispatch drivers according to customer requirements
  • Monitor driver routes to ensure timely delivery of freight
  • Determine routing problems and resolve issues as soon as possible
  • Record mileage, and repairs
  • Act as the liaison between company drivers and customers
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure smooth delivery of freight in a timely manner
  • Ensure that the drivers have all the necessary paperwork in order before dispatching to client sites, including alternate routes or special instructions for delivery

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a LTL/TL Dispatching role within the Transportation/Logistics industry
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to work independently or as a team
  • Experience with Courier Complete Dispatch System, Loadlink, Sylectus, Border Connect would be an asset.
