CUC is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Kelowna.

Your duties may include but are not limited to:
General day-to-day administration and support for the office staff.
Set up and maintain manual and digital files for record keeping.
Administer daily time-sheets, provide coding, obtain approvals and submit to payroll.
Acting liaison from Kelowna office to head office payroll department.
Set up, review, code and track purchase orders/non PO's in JD Edwards.
Track, analyse and report project progress to appropriate managers and/or customers.
Preparation and submission of unit job billings.
Create and update schedules.
Liaise with managers on current and future projects, reporting, allocations and other department requirements.
Inventory of materials required and used.
Perform other duties as required, requested or assigned.

Our ideal candidate will have:
High school, GED or equivalent; minimum of 1-2 years office experience.
Knowledge of utilities industry and JD Edwards considered an asset.
Strong customer focus both internally and externally.
Good knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, etc.
Efficient and accurate data entry skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented, easily accepting of change or new direction.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Meticulous, self-motivated, results-oriented and strong initiative.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and possess strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Hands-on, able to multi-task and willing to learn and work beyond job-scope when necessary.
