Support Staff Job Description
Reports To: Hugh’s Room Live Support Staff report to the General Manager, In
absence of the General Manager Support Staff will report to Chef, Assistant Manager,
Floor Supervisor or Sous Chef.
Job Overview:
Our Support Staff Employees at Hugh’s Room Live are imperative in setting the tone for
efficient service and front line communication between back and front of house. Their
finesse directly impacts guest experience while working as a team with all front and
back of house employees, performers, artist management, Hugh’s Room Live Board
Members and Hugh’s Room Live Contracted Employees.
The quality of guest experience is dependent on fluid customer service to establish
returning guests and increase operational revenue while providing a positive and
memorable experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Maintain cleanliness within all work stations.
-Ensure work station and work area is ready to welcome guests, clear of debris
and clutter.
-Constantly follow proper standards for cleanliness within Hugh’s Room Live
when handling food, beverage or any utensil that may come in contact with either
of the above mentioned.
-Always appear ready for interaction with guests.
-Approach guests in a positive and friendly manner.
-Be knowledgeable on all food and beverage menu and specials.
-Follow Hugh’s Room Live Steps of Service.
-Be a team player, help clear dishes and run food and beverages.
-Assist front of house with mise en place, including but not limited to folding
napkins, stocking paper products and beverages, ensuring cleanliness of
washrooms during service.
-Assist with front of house opening and closing procedures.
-Use gender-neutral language.
-Create a safe work environment adhering to Human Resource and
anti-discrimination guidelines for all employees, affiliated and guests of our
-Follow uniform guidelines and grooming as outlined by Hugh’s Room Live
-Collaborate in a positive manner with all Hugh’s Room Live Employees
-Deal with complaints or guest feedback with a positive attitude.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 1 year customer service experience
Customer-oriented approach and patience.
Problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsible, trustworthy and honest.
Attention to cleanliness and safety
Must be able to work on foot and lift up to 50LBS

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 /hour
