This position is available starting as soon as possible, covering a one year term for Maternity Leave.

The Season Pass and Tickets Sales Manager is responsible for the daily operation and supervision of the sales and service desks within the Ticket and Season Pass Offices, including Tube Town. Coordinating Early Pass and other Pass and Tickets Sales Campaigns to ensure that SilverStar is professionally represented in the Community.

Direct Reports: Sales and Service Team Members

Responsibilities
Train and motivate the Sales and Service Team, (Hold daily morning Huddles)
Train all Resort Staff on the sale of Tickets as required
Responsible for the most effective management of “Tickets” Team across the sales areas ensuring that wages stay within budget and Team Members maintain high motivation levels
Work the Sales and Service Areas on a daily basis, leading by example
Ensure training manual for the Sales and Service Team is kept up to date
Administration and management of staff, staff family and volunteer passes
Ensure a Sales and Service Culture is implemented and maintained throughout the season to maximize revenue and exceed customer expectations – Lockers/RPO/Ride Cards/Season Passes/Pass add ons
Ensure that controls are in place to mitigate the risk of ticket theft by employee and customer through robust end of day close outs and process reviews
Responsible for lockers, payment and organization, tracking income to ensure that income received in accordance with plan
Responsible for all Season Pass refunds and Letters of Credit Policy
Track and monitor the Winter Pass and Locker Payment Plan schedules to ensure adherence to plan
Responsible for maintaining the Ticket Waiver Program · Develop and maintain Policies and Procedures
Properly administrate and maintain the COMP, VIP, RAM/Resort Partner Pass, Bike Shop and Industry Rate programs for both Winter and Summer
Assist EVOLVE in stock orders and sales at Tube Town locations
Work with local community to organize and book group bookings for Tube Tow
Meet and exceed the needs of our customers through the efficient running of the Sales and Service Team operation
Handle customer comments/questions/concerns
Ensure that all stations are stocked with appropriate supplies
Ensure that all calls/emails are responded to within 24 hours and followed up within one week if required
Ensure data entry of sales team is accurate
Develop a “one stop shop” concept for customers as team knowledge and confidence grows referring customers to Snowsports and Guest Services to improve customer experience
Ensure that the Summer and Winter Early Pass Sales Campaigns are well planned and executed, liaising with Marketing, scheduling staff, ensuring that the correct resources are on site
Responsible for the communication, tracking, administration and reporting on Grade 4/5, Corporate, Powder Alliance, Reciprocal, Lake Louise Plus Cards and CWSAA Programs
Qualifications &Skills
At least 4 years of experience in a similar sales and service supervisory role
Post-secondary education in a related discipline or a combination of education and previous experience in customer sales and service
Current BC Driver’s License

Type & Duration

40 hrs per week F/T – Overtime as required. Covering a one year term for Maternity Leave.
