Work Description
Under the guidance of the Controller, the Filing Clerk is responsible for a variety of duties, in support of several different departments. Duties include filing, scanning, and data entry.

Hours of Work: 1-3 days per week, dependent on schedule. Students enrolled in post-secondary will be considered. This is a contract role until December 2019 with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain files and records according to naming conventions, and scan files for electronic storage;
Assist in the implementation of office procedures and practices;
Performing data entry tasks and updating documents and files;
Various clerical duties as required;
Any other duties as required.

Statement of Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A high school diploma is required for this role. Post-secondary education in accounting, business or finance is considered an asset;
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
Ability to meet deadlines;
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
Ability to maintain confidentiality and approach situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.
Physical/Sensory Effort/Work Environment

Providing service to several people, working under many simultaneous deadlines;
Sitting or standing for long periods of time at workstation;
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals;
Repetitive work.
