The Assistant Manager, Partner Marketing is responsible for assisting the Manager with the creation of marketing plan for Partners in the Loblaw Network (including but not limited to PC Optimum, Esso, PC Travel). The Assistant Manager will oversee marketing campaign activities (including email, social, in-store materials and website) pertaining to the Partner Network and customer base management for PC Financial Mastercard.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in understanding partner marketing, relationship management, loyalty programs, digital marketing, project management and have great attention to detail. The fast, dynamic pace of the this role requires the Assistant Manager, Partner Marketing to be able to learn quickly and execute efficiently. The candidate must be a team player with a roll-up your sleeves attitude.

Specifically, the Assistant Manager will perform the following functions in the company:

What You'll Do:
Work closely with partners to ensure brand guidelines are followed, appropriately and consistently using logos, font, and colour palettes creatively across a range of media (print, website, etc.) and objectives of partnerships are met
Collaborate with partners and external agencies to manage and execute on integrated marketing campaigns for the customer base
Collaborate with lines of business across PC Financial (product, loyalty, credit risk, operations) and external suppliers (e.g., marketing agencies) understand requirements, and drive a plan forward
Keeping Base Management projects on track, meeting the various milestones on a timely manner from requirements gathering to launch
Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders in Vendor Management, Data, Legal & compliance, Portfolio Management, Product and keep departments informed of the project status
Assist the Marketing Manager in development of the marketing plan, and oversight of the partner related activities in support of the marketing plan
Assist in the data collection to assist in the development of campaign briefing documentation
Lead the project management and execution of integrated marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media campaigns, establishment of materials, campaign splash pages, and post-campaign reporting/analysis
General ad-hoc support for the Marketing and Business Unit as required
Work with the legal team to ensure compliance of all customer facing campaigns
Lead large-scale customer notification projects ensuring effective and clear communication to customer base
Administer budget, including tracking, reporting and invoicing
Responsible for ensuring proper testing, QA is done on all campaigns prior to execution
Assist in the delivery of campaign reporting and line of business results analysis for Senior Management
Ensure business issues, customer complaints, etc are resolved in a timely manner.

What You'll Need:
University degree with a specialization in Marketing, Business or Commerce
3-4 years of related experience, preferably in a digital marketing and/or partner management role with email marketing experience
Stellar verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify, diagnose and quickly mediate problems and issues that arise in projects, teams and activities
Demonstrated ability to assist in the development and execution of large integrated marketing campaigns
Experience developing and communicating marketing strategy to various stakeholders
Ability to manage, prioritize and deliver/execute multiple tasks, projects and assignments effectively
Ability to be self-managed, motivated, with a passion to succeed
Ability to plan, and inspire great marketing campaigns
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, working with or in an agency culture
Ability to set priorities, plan, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Excellent analytical and time management skills
An excellent focus and understanding of key business results, their impact and ensuring the delivery of those results .
