Customer Service Administrator

We are a professional services firm located in the Surrey/Langley area. Our growing company is searching for a motivated and energetic Administrative and Customer Service professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging, professional and dynamic workplace while contributing to the success of a hard-working team.

More about this role:

This full-time role will be Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and is able to multi-task in a busy environment. Your scheduling abilities, time management, and organizational skills will be highly valued in this role.

You are naturally self-motivated and take pride in your work. We are looking for someone with passion and drive, who can ensure that our high standard of quality of work is maintained. Attitude is everything! Your work will be dynamic and far from boring!. We are looking for someone that enjoys a fast-paced day at times and can keep up with a highly energetic work environment.

Additional responsibilities of daily operations include:

Schedule meetings and appointments for Inspectors.
Edit and prepare reports for manual and electronic files.
Provide administrative support such as filing, word processing, and minor photocopying.
Provide word processing services and proofreading for the preparation of memorandum, letters, reports and other project documents.
Respond to clients on the phone in a professional and effective manner.
Receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries, messages.
Draft and provide clients with quotations

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of five years in an office environment with stable job history.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Five plus years of experience with Word and Outlook. Some basic Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advance level of ability to edit reports in English with great accuracy for punctuation, grammar, and layout.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Customer-service superstar.
Strong work ethic, ability to use tact and good professional judgment.
50+ WPM.

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Record and modify customer information within the database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested
