We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic, experienced and knowledgeable Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Toronto.

The successful candidate will be an individual driven by the satisfaction that comes from achieving goals and the challenge of working as a Technical Inside Sales Representative. Targeting both existing and new accounts, you will identify and respond to opportunities where LTL can position its products and capabilities in order to assist customers with solutions that best suit their needs. You will work in partnership with, and in support of, the Outside Sales team, ensuring seamless transition of information and customer feedback.

You must have a demonstrated record of building an account base within the Electrical and Power Utility markets using proven prospecting and cold-calling sales techniques. In addition, you must possess upselling capabilities on existing customers (warm-calling) achieved through a minimum of two (2) years of successful inside sales experience in the electrical and power utility markets which resulted in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

You possess knowledge of power utility products, electrical products, distribution supply chain, and have a superior command of the English language (French an asset) as is evident in excellent verbal and written communications.

  • proficient in all MS Office applications, Outlook, internet, Navision an asset, PDA communications
  • professional telephone manner, communications skills
  • ability to pin-point and also upgrade (up-sell) customer requirements as needed and when appropriate
  • strong customer care focus
  • ability to make, and assist in implementation of, suggestions for improvement regarding internal processes and procedures

College or university standing, or equivalent of minimum 2-5 years within the specific industry. Customer Service: 2 years
