Talent Management is responsible for the talent philosophy, programs and tools to identify, assess and develop talent across all TD businesses. It includes talent strategy & assessment, talent solutions and executive & leadership development.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Executive & Leadership Development, the Program Manager, Executive & Leadership Development is responsible to manage enterprise leadership development programs required to build capabilities and deliver on business strategy. This position manages relationships and deliverables across multiple functions within and outside of HR requires critical thinking, a solid knowledge of performance consulting practices, as well as strong strategy planning, change management, collaboration, stakeholder relations, project management and communication skills.
Act as a Relationship Manager for Executive, Leadership or High Potential Development Programs and HR stakeholders – managing overall engagement, progress updates and adjusting plans and projects as needed
Provide thought leadership on high potential and Leadership Development and conduct research, supporting stakeholders in understanding new and innovative approaches to meet business performance needs
Accountable for project delivery and/or working with project management to ensure project outcomes meet the needs of the business and are aligned with overall project vision
Oversee the delivery of enterprise development programs and own the end to end program design, delivery and outcomes.
Lead and conduct post implementation reviews and program evaluations to provide recommendations around program usage and effectiveness
Lead the exploration, development and design and implementation of new executive or leadership development programs in alignment with TD's shared commitment and Executive & Leadership development strategy
Continual process realignment of existing programs in order to better support TD Leadership Development curriculum
Develop and maintain good working relationships with external development vendors in support of providing thoughtful recommendations
Support management of the program budget, including invoicing and contracting with vendors
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
5+ years of leadership experience in performance, talent or strategy / consulting, with experience defining strategic capabilities and building / executing on a plan to address capability gaps
Proven experience providing thought leadership on accelerating organizational performance, ability to scan market and provide best-practice research and insights on a broad range of topics
Ability to build and deliver executive-level presentations and analysis
Enjoy working on complex issues and generating business-oriented creative solutions
Have proven planning and project management skills, with an ability to provide oversight and coordination of multiple projects/changing priorities, concurrently under tight timelines and with multiple stakeholders
Ability to build and maintain relationships with different stakeholders including executives, program support, external partners and vendors
University degree preferably in a business discipline, MBA an asset.
