Reporting to the Engineering, Maintenance and Plant Services Manager you will ensure productivity of operations through safe and effective maintenance Planning, Scheduling and supervises work execution for all plant equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and technical support to all maintenance personnel improving maintenance procedures and effectiveness
Manage and control downtime and costs
Plan, schedule and execute annual shutdown and assigned projects
Coordinate maintenance activities with all operational areas
Initiate purchase requisitions as required
Manage maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities. Ensure compliance to all preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Assist Maintenance/Reliability Engineering in troubleshooting process problems
Drive HACCP, 5S and Integrated Management Systems (IMS) responsibilities for ISO and OHSAS Standards
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement utilizing LEAN manufacturing tools and principles. Drive the proven results.
Use appropriate RCPS techniques to help with operational improvements and ensure RCPC culture is embedded in operation
Control standards of work/service from contractors on site
All administrative duties: Manpower time and attendance, field follow-up, safe work permits, compliance with SOP’s, accuracy of job descriptions, and departmental training is current and relevant for all reports
People management: Dealing with employee concerns, problems, discipline, grievances, etc.
Compliance with standard operating procedures, legal and other requirements including health and safety, fire protection, environmental, quality, security and continuous improvement programs is a requirement of the job
Maintain good working relationship with all departments, staff, Beam Suntory resources, contractors and suppliers

Qualifications & Capabilities Required:
Technologist or Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical)
Combination of other technical and experience may be considered
Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a unionized, manufacturing/packaging environment
Experience in SAP Maintenance software, PLC’s, and AutoCAD are definite assets
Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential for success in this position
Knowledge and ability to build on existing equipment information systems and recommend continuous improvements to the preventative & predictive maintenance processes
Demonstrated experience with LEAN Manufacturing tools and principles
Mobility to access areas of a large plant site
