Singh Electronicsis recruiting a Part Time/Full Time Administrative Assistant to join our busy team!

Successful candidates for this role will enjoy and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Previous consumer electronics experience is an asset but not mandatory, however, administration/accounting experience is required. Excellent communication, verbal and written is required for this role.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administrative duties
  • answering telephones, booking/confirming appointments, greeting clients
  • Respond to general phone and email inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding order status/ETA’s/product returns (RMA)
  • Accurately create/maintain/process business records related to orders; including quotes, order confirmation, purchase orders and invoicing
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and neat office area and showroom
  • Manage social media (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Financial duties
  • Audit & review of financial statements (AP/AR)
  • Assemble, sort, code and match supplier’s invoices
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Confirm appropriate approvals before processing and paying invoices
  • Keep track of all payments and expenditures*
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date*
  • Respond to all vendor enquiries regarding any issues and payments
  • Maintain vendor’s file

Qualifications and Skills

  • Be fluent in English
  • Previous customer service and/or accounting experience required
  • Be accurate and pay attention to detail
  • Flexible to work weekends if required
  • Can easily prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and work well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant phone presence

Candidates must be available to work Tuesday and Wednesday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, flexibility is a PLUS. This position is a contractual part time position which will turn into a permanent part time/full time position if the fit is right!
