'Our Rental Coordinators and Account Managers play a key role in the Maxim family. Account managers are often the first people our customers meet to discuss their whole goods needs. Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business through cold-calls, regular follow-ups and building customer relationships
  • Creates and provides leasing documentation to lease account managers, and prepares files for lease and rental units being placed into service & prepares sales or lease quotes that ensure profitable sale and customer satisfaction.
  • Manages truck and trailer fleets of specific lease accounts by maintaining working knowledge of each account’s business requirements and ensuring the fleet meets those needs.
  • Manages administrative duties related to rental and leasing contracts, including creating and maintaining files, month end, and audit preparation.
  • Creates and provides internal and external PO’s as required for lease and rental units being placed into service. Posts related accounting entries through inventory software.
  • Closes sales or lease deals accurately using proper procedures
  • Ensuring units are prepared for delivery by listing work to be done and following up with the shop to ensure quality of work is completed on time.
  • Ensuring that all insurance certificates and lease unit registrations are up-to-date and filed.
  • Addresses after-sales questions and concerns, and ensures unit is prepared for on-time delivery

What you need to succeed in this role:

QUALIFICATIONS

A) Experience:

· 3+ years office administration experience

· Exposure to working with a lease/sales force preferred

· Truck/trailer dealership and/or Leasing & Rental industry knowledge preferred

· Knowledge of potential customers in sales territory

· Understanding of heavy-duty trucks & trailers and their applications

· Knowledge of Montreal’s customer base

B) Education & Skills:

· Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of people

· Organized, sets priorities, meets deadlines

· Ability to work with interruptions

· Team player and takes initiative

· Numerical accuracy and attention to detail

· Strong multi-tasking, fact finding, and analytical skills

· Deals professionally with confidential and sensitive information

· Valid Driver’s Licence and vehicle – Class 3 an asset

· Sales / Business administration courses an asset

· Sales and customer service focused

· Easily builds rapport and relationships with people at all levels

· Ability to prospect new customers and up-sell products

· Strong negotiation, listening, and closing skills

· Regularly sets and meets priorities and long term goals

· Proficient with MS Word/Excel, email, internet

· Strong ability to learn in-house computer programs

· Ability to complete ongoing product sales training

· Shows assertiveness, persuasiveness, and initiative

· Ability to work independently

· Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
