The Sales Professional is responsible for selling enterprise software to higher education institutions and organizations globally. Responsibilities also include achieving sales quotas and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by managing all aspects of the sales cycle and collaborating with other team members (marketing, sales engineering etc.).

What you will do as our new Sales Executive

Identify key decision-makers and build strong relationships with customers
Penetrate and develop major accounts and new prospects
Perform sales presentations to prospects
Negotiate contacts and close new business deals
Work closely with marketing and sales engineering and perform assessments to determine customer requirements
Present a thorough territory plan within 90 days
Set challenging goals, monitor progress, and make sure that results are achieved as planned
Identify and close quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles
Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
Utilize a solution approach to selling and creating value for customers
Prioritize opportunities and applying appropriate resources
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, webinars, and trade shows events
Here's what you'll bring to the role

Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to consistently close deals through effective negotiations and deal management
Strong business development, technical presentation skills, and the ability to present technical concepts and business solutions clearly through demonstrations and proposals
Responsiveness and thorough follow-up with customers and prospects
Outstanding organizational and process skills to ensure top priorities are consistently being pursued
Self-motivated, problem solver, and works with little direction
Hunter type personality combined with board room presence and presentation skills
Strong work ethic
Leadership qualities
Must have 5+ years of solid enterprise software sales performance
Experience in cold calling is required
Must be very computer literate and internet savvy, be aware of diverse business software applications, operating systems, programming languages
Must be willing to travel
Demonstrated ability to exceed individual quarterly and annual quotas
Nice to Have

Experience dealing with Higher Education
Other languages a plus
