Our Calgary office is looking for a Manager to join Indirect Tax team and own the following responsibilities:
Advise the firm's clients on the application of indirect taxes in a business context and ensuring appropriate compliance procedures
Provide indirect tax advice in various firm mandates, such as business acquisitions/disposition or restructuring
Participate actively in developing indirect tax mandates
Analyze assessment projects, or assessments, and represent clients in disputes with government authorities
Perform research on indirect tax issues; write tax memorandums
Participate in internal and external client training, and training of junior indirect tax staff

Your experience and education
You have completed your CPA designation or hold a Law degree
Hold, or in the process of obtaining a Master's degree in Tax, or completed CPA Canada's "In-Depth Tax Course" is an asset
At least three years' experience in indirect taxes
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
