Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineers “E” (ACA).

Role Summary

The successful candidate will be a detail-orientated team player who maintains impeccable safety and quality standards. Certifying Staff is the core of our base maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

Perform aircraft inspections
Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards
Interpret technical manuals, drawing and blueprints
Test repaired aircraft systems and other routine maintenance work
Troubleshooting defective systems
Record problems and actions taken
Maintain accurate statement of maintenance history of the aircraft
Assist in instruction of apprentices
Shift Work may be required
Some international travel may be required
May perform other duties as assigned.
Employees must comply with and adhere to all company policies
You must hold a valid work permit to work in this country

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
Qualifications

Valid Transport Canada AME “E” Type license
Minimum 18 months’ experience in helicopter line maintenance
Experience and/or endorsements on Sikorsky, Bell, Agusta or Airbus aircraft
Experience in modification installations would be preferred
Efficient use of electronic or paper based manuals
In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation standards
Self-motivated and logical problem solving capability
Results oriented with a focus on quality
Strong positive interpersonal and communication skills
Team player with ability to take direction and follow instruction
Some international travel may be required for MRT assignments
