Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of pizzas, salads and appetizers
  • Preparation of roasted and braised meats
  • Grilling and frying foods
  • Preparation of hot appetizers, pastas, soups and vegetables
  • Preparation of cold dishes
  • Overseeing subordinate personnel in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Helping executive chef-owner in planning menus,
  • Determining size of food portions, estimating food requirements and
  • costs and monitoring of supplies inventory
  • Ensuring quality of food
  • Clean kitchen and work area
