The Manitoba Strategic Infrastructure Secretariat (MSIS) is looking for an Executive Office Manager to join our team. MSIS is a central strategic infrastructure office within the Department of Central Services. MSIS manages, leads and delivers significant infrastructure investment programs and initiatives in partnership with other levels of government and third party proponents throughout Manitoba. Working within multi-levels of government and in a fast-paced environment, MSIS provides central coordination, negotiation, and delivery of complex strategic capital Infrastructure programs and projects, which include diverse and sensitive topics and issues.

Qualifications:Essential:
Extensive experience providing office coordination, administration and support to Senior Level leadership.
Strong written communication skills including experience researching, drafting, formatting and proofreading reports and correspondence for senior level officials.
Strong interpersonal skills and political acumen to manage highly sensitive and confidential information while maintaining positive working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders (for example, members of the public and all levels of government).
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) and Adobe Professional.
Experience working with and managing complex filing and information tracking systems in both physical and electronic formats.

Desired:
Completion of a post secondary program specializing in providing business administration.
Experience with timekeeping and/or accounting software and financial transactions.

Duties:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer and the MSIS Directors, this position provides confidential support to the Directors and overall coordination of MSIS office operations, including undertaking research and analysis on issues, managing correspondence, managing a public inquiry line and inbox, processing financial transactions and maintaining responsibility for the general administrative function of the office.
