Our St. Catharines office has an immediate opening for a full-time Intermediate Staff Accountant - Tax.

Reporting to Partners and Managers, you will be responsible for:

Compliance review of personal and corporate tax returns
Implementing tax engagements, meeting the firm’s quality and quantity standards
Providing technical expertise as an internal resource to staff who need tax support on their client files or on specific questions from their clients
Researching and interpreting tax legislation
Preparing tax plans, returns and compliance related reports
Preparing client correspondence including reports, discussion of technical issues and recommendations
Assistance to other offices of the Firm as required

The successful candidate will have:
Two (2) years of experience in public accounting
Understanding of and work experience with Canadian Income Taxation is an asset
Current enrollment in the CPA writing process with planned completion in 2019 or 2020
Intention or willingness to enroll, or currently enrolled in the CICA In-Depth Tax Course
