Chartright Air Group is a leading provider of Business Aviation Services in Canada with head offices located at Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson International airport. We are a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) licensed to maintain a wide variety of aircraft. This position reports to the General Manager, YKF FBO.
We are looking for a full-time Line Service Supervisor to provide maintenance to our managed aircraft at the Waterloo airport where we provide service from 0500am to 0100am, seven days per week. If you possess a baseline of requirements and would be a good fit including a demonstrated motivation to learn and adhere to high standards of service, we will train you in all areas.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Fuel aircraft

Fuel testing and delivery
-
Support aircraft movements
-
Service ground equipment and movement
-
Support anti-icing/de-icing of aircraft

Provide routine hangar, facility and equipment maintenance

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by enforcing organization and regulatory standards

Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks

Supervision of Ramp Agent staff

Training of Ramp Agent staff on procedures and equipment
-
Record sales and inventory movement transactions in CORRIDOR
Requirements:
-
Minimum High School Diploma; aviation and or college level maintenance program an asset

Line Service Technician Certificate (NATA) strongly preferred

Strong experience and knowledge of safety requirements in a maintenance environment or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong customer service and quality service approach

Solid problem solving and judgement capabilities

Self-starter, able to act independently and conduct work under minimal supervision

Possess solid interpersonal and collaboration skills
-
Possess a DZ license, or ability to obtain one immediately.

Ontario driver’s license with clean abstract required

Radio license preferred or able to get one in the short term

Possess or able to attain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP)

Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and Holidays

Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Good working knowledge of IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement.

Solid knowledge of ramp GSE
Hours of Work:
-
40 hours of work per week; shift rotations will be within the hours 0500-0100 covering seven days per week as well as on statutory holidays.

There will be “call outs” outside of regularly scheduled hours that can occur 24 hours per day resulting in overtime pay.
