  • To maintain the quality of guest room and public space cleanliness according to standards, policies and procedures as established by the NNH management /housekeeping department.
  • To ensure that all guest requests are honoured.
  • To be flexible to work all days that are required, including weekends and holidays.
  • To be very hospitable to guests, providing assistance and answering questions to enhance guest's visits at the hotel.
  • To communicate room deficiencies to management and maintenance department.


  • Ability to work as a member of a team in a faced paced environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Some written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Must be able to provide criminal reference check.
  • WHMIS and/or First Aid training an asset.


  • Physically fit to endure lifting, stretching, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs.
  • Some exposure to weather while cleaning outside rooms, i.e. heat, snow, rain.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, such as general purpose disinfectant, glass cleaner, furniture polish, carpet stain remover etc.
