The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the sales of Daniels Sharpsmart product lines and services to hospital and other medical facility target accounts in the defined territory geography. The position requires a high level of understanding of the interrelationships of multiple customer departments and committees. A high level of demonstrable negotiating and selling skills is required.


  • Develop tactics and strategies to develop long-term commitment with key customers
  • Utilize pipeline management to ensure sales plan is met
  • Constantly review all sales activities, targets, and strategies in order to maximize results
  • Ensure customer needs are effectively met and build productive customer relationships
  • Be accountable for customer satisfaction
  • Achieve sales quotas for the territory as set by the company
  • Formulate an effective customer call strategy to maximize opportunities in the territory
  • Participate in the sales planning, sales strategies, territorial coverage, and budgeting processes
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis of the territory for the Regional Sales Manager, and / or Director of Sales
  • Attend all sales and product related meetings
  • Manage all market activity in the territory including convention participation
  • Communicate market development and suggested product line changes or opportunities to Regional Sales Manager, and /or Director of Sales
  • Manage the details of all customer field based communications and issues
  • Complete all required weekly, quarterly, and projection reporting on time as required
  • Comply with all national and local laws and company policies and procedures associated with marketing and business practices
  • Manage all territory activity within budgetary guidelines


  • Bilingual: English & French
  • BS, BA Four Year Degree
  • 1-2+ years inside sales experience (within medical/healthcare a plus)
  • Must be able to discuss the features, advantages, and clinical benefits of all our products and to compare their performance with competitive products
  • Proven negotiation and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
