Human Resources Specialist - Edmonton

As a Human Resources Specialist for the CBI Home Health Network, you will support day-to-day Human Resource management requirements. Reporting to the Regional People & Culture Manager, you are a generalist who prides themselves on the ability to juggle a multitude of projects and create positive employee experiences.
As a Human Resources Specialist you will:
Work with the Regional People & Culture Business Partner, to ensure support and implementation of P&C programs, processes and initiatives impacting outpatient services across the province.
Partner effectively with the P&C team and a large group of operational and clinical managers
Conduct investigations of health & safety and employee relations issues.
Support organizational engagement and training initiatives, including coordinating employee recognition programs and the orientation process.
Support the disability management process and coordinate return to work programs (Workers Compensation, Sick Leave, Long-Term Disability).
Advise staff and managers on policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
Review HR metrics tracked by P&C Coordinator (turnover, utilization, recruitment, engagement, etc.) and contribute to analysis and insights gathering.
Manage and audit HR files and ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data.
Support the recruitment process alongside the Talent Acquisition Specialist and P&C Coordinator, participating in interviews and other recruitment duties as needed.
To be successful in the role of Human Resources Specialist, you:
Have post-secondary or post-graduate education in human resources.
Have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a human resources generalist capacity.
Are working toward or possess a human resources designation.
Are resourceful and self-directed.
Have strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation.
Have demonstrated time management skills with an orientation to deadline achievement.
